Rikki joined the BBRPD Board of Directors in 2019. ​Rikki grew up outside of Kansas City, MO and attended college at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD, where she graduated with a BA in Journalism and a minor in Criminal Justice. Rikki was a law enforcement officer for 31 years working for the San Diego, San Jose,and Piedmont Police Departments. Rikki has had a home in Black Butte Ranch since 2014 and she and her wife, Sue, have lived here full-time since their retirement in 2016 along with their two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Rikki is happiest outdoors exploring all the different hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and snowshoeing opportunities found in Central Oregon.
