CHIEF DENNEY KELLEY began working at Black Butte Ranch on July 15, 2009 after a 30-year career in Law Enforcement.  Chief Kelley came to Black Butte from the Portland Police Bureau where he held assignments in Patrol, Detectives, SERT (SWAT), Air Support and Criminal Intelligence.  Chief Kelley also played on the Portland Police Badgers Soccer team for 20 years

The Chief's wife, Michele, is a nurse with over 30 year's experience, including 8 years as a  Life Flight nurse.  Their family includes 4 adult children and 2 in High School.
