Born and raised in Berkeley, California. Graduated from the University
of Oregon with a degree in Economics. Received a JD degree from the University of Oregon. Joined the Yturri Law Firm in 1961, where I am still practicing, specializing in business, insurance and professional liability litigation. Served as a police science instructor at Treasure Valley Community College. Currently sit on the Board of Directors of Cascade Natural Gas Company headquartered in Seattle, Washington, and am Chairman of the Corporate Governance Nominating and Compensation Committee.
Married to Patricia Burnham for 42 years. We have 2 children, a daughter in Brush Prairie, Washington and a son in Portland, Oregon. We began visiting the ranch in 1974 and purchased our home in 1987. We have lived here full time since 2001.
