Clark Brody and his wife, Barbara, have lived
full time at Black Butte Ranch since 2010.
They have been married 38 years.
In that time they have raised three children who are all
married and reside in Oregon and Washington. Ten grandchildren keep
Clark and his wife busy off and on throughout the year.
Clark and Barbara are both career educators.
Clark started out in education by teaching music but spent
most of his time as an administrator in the Centennial School
District east of Portland.
He retired from the Department of Education in 2003.
His main interests are helping kids grow up to be
successful citizens and challenging himself to learn new things. In
addition, he enjoys singing in the Sisters Chorale.
Since moving to Black Butte he has been involved
in a number of volunteer efforts: litter patrol, resident geese
reduction, assisting the Black Butte Players, Police Board, BBR
Civil Service Commission and the BBR Rural Fire District Budget
Committee.
